Welcome to MySafeFamily.Info

Hello, My name is Todd. I have been working with communication, entertainment and security products in both residential and commercial applications for over 30 years.  I am a licenses low voltage electrician, gadget geek, nerd and like most people I worry about the safety of my family. Over the years I have installed security and camera systems, smoke / CO detectors, Automation, Access Control, WiFi networks and most recently wireless door bell cameras and "call-for-help" devices, many for my own mother.

My experiences with my mother and talking to clients made me realize, a lot of people have a need that is not being meet. I created this web site to help others keep their family safe. To help people discover what products or service are available to solve concerns they have about their mom, dad, child, friend or neighbor.

The first question to ask yourself is, "Do I hire a professional or do it myself?" I will always recommend hiring a competent, experienced local company to help you. If you cannot find a company you feel comfortable with or if they cannot meet your timeline needs at a price point you can afford, then doing it yourself might be your only option.

Please use the resources here to help you keep your family safe. I will be adding more ideas and product recommendations every week so check back often. If you do not see a solution here that address your immediate needs, please contact me and I will try to help as best I can.

Though-out this web site you will see Amazon links to all sort of devices. I am a huge fan of the Amazon Echo line of products with Alexa voice control, the RING door bell product line, TP-Link networking gear and lets face it, Amazon has darn everything. Again, if you have a local provider or retailer you trust, call them. If not and you plan on ordering through Amazon, please use these links, I would appreciate it.
